Background
Sabak Bernam Hospital was built on a 50-acre site near the farm Torkington approximately 1 Km from Pekan Sabak Bernam. Its construction was started with the purchase of farm Torkington site in 1983 with the price of RM 440,000.00.
However, according to the concept of the construction project with 93 beds Awakening started in 1990 by the construction company Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn. Bhd. and completed on May 9, 1994. The hospital is priced at RM 37.53 million.
Submitted to the Ministry of Health on July 15, 1994. Opening on October 3, 1998 DYYM perfected by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, naming this hospital named after his mother. Following the Sabak Bernam Hospital changed its name to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah (HTAJ), Sabak Bernam.
HTAJ is a district hospital without specialists. However, specialized services are provided at the Specialist Clinic visit. Hospital Board of Visitors was the liaison between the hospital and provide services komuniti.
HTAJ Administration, 24-hour Emergency Care, Outpatient Treatment Inpatient Treatment Clinic (Visits) and visit and home treatment services through Community Psychiatry.
Whereas Support Services, including Medical Records, Pharmacy and Supplies, Rehabilitation, Imaging and Diagnostics, Pathology, Dietetics & Food, Hemodialysis, Disinfection, Engineering, Training & Quality and Infection Control.
HTAJ attach great importance to quality service delivery and secure. Accreditation of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Sabak Bernam was conducted for the first time in November 2000. HTAJ is the first hospital in the State receiving accreditation status. HTAJ been through 5 cycles and Accreditation status is maintained until June 2018.
