How to Awaken Thunder God in Blox Fruits

Awakening the Thunder God in Blox Fruits is the process of upgrading the Rumble fruit’s abilities to their enhanced, “awakened” versions. This doesn’t change the fruit itself, but it significantly boosts your combat power, adding new moves and improving existing ones. Before you start, you must have the Rumble fruit equipped (it’s a Rare fruit, purchasable from the Blox Fruit Dealer or found randomly). You’ll also need to be at least Level 1100 to access the required raid, and you’ll need a friend or two to help you clear it.

What You’ll Need

  • Rumble Fruit – must be equipped in your inventory.
  • Level 1100+ – the raid is scaled for high-level players.
  • Raid Chip – costs 100,000 in-game cash, purchased from the Raid Boss NPC (found near the Colosseum in the Second Sea).
  • At least 2-3 players – raids are extremely difficult solo; bring friends or join a crew.
  • Good gear and stats – recommended to have at least 2,000+ in your main damage stat (Melee, Sword, or Gun) and decent health.

Step-by-Step

  1. Equip the Rumble Fruit. Open your inventory (press I on PC) and select the Rumble fruit. Make sure it’s your active fruit, not just in your inventory.
  2. Travel to the Second Sea. If you’re in the First Sea, reach Level 700 and talk to the Military Detective in the Frozen Village to get the quest to go to the Second Sea. Once there, you’ll have access to the Raid area.
  3. Locate the Raid Boss NPC. In the Second Sea, go to the Colosseum area. The Raid Boss NPC is a green-skinned NPC standing near the entrance. Talk to him.
  4. Purchase a Raid Chip. From the NPC’s menu, select “Raid” and buy a chip for 100,000 cash. If you don’t have enough, grind for cash by defeating enemies or selling extra fruits.
  5. Start the Rumble Raid. After buying the chip, a portal will appear. Walk into it to enter the raid lobby. Wait for other players to join (you can invite friends or use the in-game “Find Raid” option).
  6. Clear the raid. The raid consists of 5 waves of enemies, each harder than the last. Work with your team to defeat all enemies. Focus on the boss in the final wave. Use your best attacks and dodge often. If you die, you’ll respawn but lose progress if the team wipes.
  7. Collect the reward. After the final boss is defeated, a chest appears. Open it to receive a random reward, which may include fragments, cash, or a chance at an awakening material.
  8. Awaken your moves. Open your inventory and click on the Rumble fruit icon. You’ll see a list of moves (Z, X, C, V, F). Each move has an “Awaken” button next to it. Spend the required fragments (earned from raids) to upgrade each move. You can awaken moves in any order, but it’s recommended to start with your most-used attack.
  9. Repeat as needed. Each move requires a certain number of fragments (usually 10,000-20,000 per move). You’ll need to run the raid multiple times to earn enough fragments to fully awaken all moves.

Common Mistakes

  • Not equipping Rumble before the raid. If you don’t have Rumble equipped when you open the chest, you won’t get the awakening materials for it.
  • Starting the raid solo. The raid is nearly impossible solo at the recommended level. Always bring at least one other player, preferably two or three.
  • Wasting fragments on non-Rumble moves. Fragments are shared across fruits, but only spend them on Rumble if you plan to main that fruit. Once spent, they can’t be refunded.
  • Ignoring your health. In the raid, enemies hit hard. Don’t just focus on damage; use dodges and keep an eye on your HP bar.

Tips

  • Use a tanky build. Invest in Defense and Vitality stats to survive the raid. A good balance is 50% into your damage stat, 25% Defense, 25% Vitality.
  • Bring a friend with a strong fruit. Buddha, Venom, or Dragon are great for raids because they deal massive damage and have good area control.
  • Farm fragments efficiently. The fastest way is to repeatedly run the Rumble raid with a good team. Each run gives about 1,000-2,000 fragments, depending on performance.
  • Awaken your Z move first. The Z move is your basic attack and gets a significant boost when awakened, making the rest of the raid easier.
  • Learn the raid layout. The Rumble raid takes place in a floating island arena. Memorize the spawn points to quickly eliminate enemies.

Troubleshooting

  • I don’t see the Rumble raid option. Make sure you’re in the Second Sea and have talked to the Raid Boss NPC. Also, ensure you have the Rumble fruit equipped – the raid list only shows raids for fruits you own.
  • The raid is too hard. Level up more, upgrade your stats, and get better gear. Also, try to find a more experienced team. You can ask in the game’s Discord or subreddit for raid help.
  • I didn’t get any fragments. Fragments are awarded based on your contribution. If you died early and did little damage, you might get zero. Try to stay alive and deal as much damage as possible.
  • I awakened the wrong move. Unfortunately, you can’t undo an awakening. However, you can always earn more fragments to awaken the rest. Plan ahead and decide which moves you use most.
  • My fragments are not enough. Each move costs 10,000-20,000 fragments. If you’re short, you’ll need to run the raid a few more times. It’s a grind, but it’s the only way.

Frequently Asked Questions
