Hospital Kemamanis a Major Hospitals since the RMK9 and was also known as the First Responder Hospital because of its position in high risk areas.

• Population of Kemaman, Dungun and North Pahang
• Reference hospitals for 9 Health Clinics and more than 20 private clinics in Kemaman district including Petronas Rantau Clinic & PERWAJA

The Hospital is a 150 beds hospital and it is a non-specialist district hospital providing outpatient services and inpatient services.

HISTORY 

1940s – Start a service at a hospital school building
1970s – Hospital building with Administration Unit component, Emergency Unit, Support                  Unit was built
1997  – Start physiotherapy services
1998  – Embark on Haemodialysis Services
– The 4-storey wards and maternity rooms are built

2001  – The D / E class (8 unit) quarters was completed
2002  – Class F (16 units) and G (32 units) quarters were occupied
2004  – June 1 – CSSU begins operating Pest Cleanup for Kemaman Hospital and PKD
– June 8 – Maternity room (4 rooms)
– July 26 – Surgical Hall (2 rooms)

2010  – Start the audiology service
2011  – The Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health began operations

1. We will prioritize critical and partial critical cases in the Emergency and Trauma Department with the following waiting times:

– All critical cases (Red Zone) are treated immediately

– All critical partial cases (Yellow Zone) are treated within 15 minutes

– Other cases (Green Zone) will be seen according to the patient’s priority

2. Outpatient Clinic Services and Expert Clinic will be given by turn and / or patient condition. Priority will be given to children, pregnant women, senior citizens and people with disabilities

3. Information will be provided to customers regarding illness and care

4. The confidentiality of personal information, illness and care provided to the patient is guaranteed

5. Clean, comfortable and safe facilities and environment are available
