Polytechnic is an effective place to train human capital to meet the needs of the workforce and reduce dependency on Polytechnics, universities and colleges in Malaysia are under the administration of the Ministry of Education Malaysia . As of 2004 , polytechnics have produced 40,000 diploma graduates each year. Every year, almost 420,000 SPM / SPMV students are out of school and enter the work environment without any knowledge and experience.

Pre-Diploma Program of Science
The program is a step that has been created to enable Felda and children of mind to gain access to the programs offered at Polytechnics subject to the conditions of admission to which they will be given opportunity to seize the jobs created to enhance their self-esteem and family. The program consists of TWO (2) namely:
a) Transforming the Felda Citizenship Program (MDWF) open to Felda citizens
b) The Change of the Malaysian Indian Childrens Program (MDAIM) open to
children of india.
