Abdul Taib Bin Mahmud on 30 August 1996, the Miri Hospital has 345 beds and provides a number of specialized services such as Medical, Surgical, Eye, Orthopedic, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Children. The main areas of service are Miri Hospital Inpatient, Outpatient, Pre-Hospital Care.

- Our priority will be given to critical and semi-critical cases in the emergency and trauma department with waiting time as follows:
- All critical cases (Red Zone) will be treated immediately
- All cases of semi-critical (Yellow Zone) will be treated within 30 minutes
- Other cases (Green Zone) will be seen in prior to patient’s condition.
- Outpatient and specialist clinics services will be by rotation and / or condition of the patient. Preference will be given to children, pregnant women, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
- Information about treatment of disease will be informed to patient.
- Confidentiality of personal information, disease and treatment given to the patient is assured.
- Clean, comfortable and safe facilities and environment are assured.
