Hospital Limbang set up for help an individual achieve and maintain a health standard to enable him to carry out productive economic and social life

This can be achieved by providing efficient, effective and effective treatment, rehabilitation, treatment and rehabilitation services with emphasis on underprivileged groups.

Background

Hospital Limbang located in Limbang’s old town is now used as Limbang Division Medical Store. It was established on August 18, 1961 with 16 nurses and 10 people attending with 54 beds.

In line with the increase in population and development Limbang Town, the new Limbang Hospital was officially opened on June 29, 1980 by TYT Speaker of State Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Hj MuhammadSalahuddin. The construction cost of RM 4,912 million in total 7.8hektar.

Now 2017, a total staff strength of 279 people, including 19 medical officers and specialists 1 Person 2 Person Mrs and radiologist

CHARTER

WE PROMISE TO PROVIDE FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, SAFE, FRIENDLY, CARING AND QUALITY.

Preference will be given to critical and semi-critical cases in the emergency department and trauma to the waiting time as follows:

  •      All critical cases (Red Zone) was treated immediately
  •      All semi-critical cases (Yellow Zone) treated in 15 minutes
  •      Other cases (Green Zone) will be seen as a priority condition of the patient.

1. Service outpatient clinics and specialist clinics will be provided by rotation and / or condition of the patient. Priority will be given to children, pregnant women, the elderly and the disabled.

2. Information to be provided to customers regarding the disease and treatment.

3. Confidentiality of personal information, disease and care given to the patient is guaranteed.

4. facilities and a clean, comfortable and safe are provided.

OBJECTIVE

To produce competent personnel in their respective fields and are always working as a team culture consistent with the corporate Ministry of Health.

  • To ensure that all segments of society to acquire the services  of medical optimum of trained staff fairly without calculating social status, customs and beliefs.
  • Creating a work environment that is comfortable and secure and  maintain a policy and customer-friendly rules
  • Trying to provide facilities and latest medical equipment
  • To assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in accordance with advances in medical technology.
  • In cooperation with government departments, private agencies, organizations or NGOs in charity (charity work), campaign, health and treatment process in order to increase awareness as well as the health of local communities.
  • Refer patients to specialists for further treatment related either by direct reference to critical cases or for an appointment for a stable case.
  • Providing services before and after the treatment to the patient (such as ambulance services, rehabilitation / physiotherapy services and  medical records and hearses) to reduce the difficulties encountered.

The department operates during office hours 8:00 am- 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm..  The department also includes the Clinic and Diabetic Clinic.
