Background
Hospital Kota Tinggi is a government hospital located in Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia. Hospital Kota Tinggi opened in 1913 with three ward operating with a capacity of 60 patients. Upgrading and refurbishment were carried out continuously at Kota Tinggi Hospital between 1976 and 1995.
In 2002, the emodialysis unit was set up with four hemodialysis machines and in 2006 two more machines were installed for patient facilities in Kota Tinggi.
In 2004, a 4-storey building for maternity ward, O & G, children (Wad Kenanga), men’s class 2 men (Men’s Tanjung Wad) and women (Wad Tanjung Wad). Hospital Kota Tinggi therefore has six wards with 158 beds for patients.
